This is a very nice restaurant near to the Palazzo Reale and the Cathedral. It offers truly great seafood in the Sicilian style, incredibly fresh, and has very good quality wines (including the house wine) and limoncello, combined with excellent bread. Take your time here, it is a very nice and unhurried place, and like in many restaurants in Palermo,... More

Very nice place to come with friends and family to eat great food like pasta and fish. The plates are worth around 10 euros which is a good price to eat amazing meals. For an over all its an superb place!

They have a friendly service. The chef came to our table to explain the dishes and the fishes he bought that day. We chose a "baccala" as antipasti that was really marvelous ! Fried but juicy with sweetened onions. After we had the traditional sicilian "pasta norma" and a pasta with ricota. Both were very tasteful, with fresh products and... More

Just around the corner from Cappella Palatina is this delightful restaurant. The four of us were completely delighted and satisfied by our meals. From the "Chef's Special" pasta to the deserts, everything was delicious. My one friend couldn't stop talking about the tiramisu for the rest of our weeklong trip.

Just below the palazzo dei Normanni, you find this quaint, charming trattoria, tucked in a sweet cortille. Upon entering, you feel immediately the warmth and strong character that we associate with Sicily, but in particular, Palermo, and before you have sat down, you are immediately hungry. The menu is tantalising, and you are too torn between this dish and that... More

We were in Palermo for almost a week before we found this restaurant. A shame because we leave tomorrow. Charming setting, gracious host who did not rush us. I ordered bruschetta which was delicious. The grilled calamari was good but too much for my small appetite. My husbands seafood ravioli with mussels et c was fantastic. Somehow we made room... More

We had a very good pasta with prawns, tomato and sauce with a green salad. The carafe of house white wine was excellent and our young waiter was friendly and keen to practise his English, altogether a delightful lunch.

We dropped into this restaurant to get out of the rain after a visit to the nearby Norman palace. Cosy comfortable decor. Waiter Giuseppe was an exceptionally personable young man from the start. We had shared a calamaretti and a mussels entree, and a matriciana and a spaghetti with sardines. Absolutely first class. The matriciana was better than anything I... More

Looking for a restaurant near Piazza del Parlemento we found this gem through TripAdvisor and it was a very pleasant discovery. We feel very lucky to have found a real Sicilian restaurant as our first introduction to the local food. We were offered a delicious "cadeau" by the chef which was an appetiser made from egg and cheese. We then... More
