This Ristorante is a little bit hidden. The tables outside are protected against wind and cold temperatures. We decided to sit inside. The ambiance is fine. On arrival we received a spumante and bruscetta from the house. The wine list is quite small and should offer a bigger choice. Despite of this with help of the waiter we have chosen... More

Excellent food and service. Ordered pork knuckle which came with veg. So very tasty and cooked to perfection. Friends had lamb shank and mushroom risotto which they said they'd also enjoyed. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. We weren't twice we enjoyed it so much. Closed on a Wednesday.

Avoid the tourist traps and head to Don Ciccios as recommended by our hotel manager. Friendly (they even remembered us from our first visit), amazing and reasonable food no room for dessert. as good if not better 2nd time around. Recommend the Steak in mushrooms and the roast pork knuckle quality food and plenty of it

We have eaten here at least three times, so far. Every selection, from the Caponata (outstanding!), fresh whole fish, pasta con le sarde, and stinco di agnello is excellent! Very warm and genuinely friendly staff. When we didn't like our first selection of wine, our waiter gladly suggested another without fuss. A gratis start of prosecco and an absolutely delicious... Service was great, food was wonderful, and the music was unobtrusive but super high quality. It didn't feel crowded or touristy even though we were right in the center of the most crowded tourist area.

This restaurant was recommended by a local ex-pat. The meal was delicious. I can personally recommend the pasta "Norma" (which apparently means from Normandy). It pasta with a tomato / eggplant sauce which is on the menu in many Sicilian restaurants but was best here. The staff was lovely, not unusual for Sicily where the people are much friendlier, warmer,... More

Try traditional Italian dish Pasta con le sarde, very good. Also was good agnello (lamb). Sorbetto limone was excellent. The service was quick and we were happy to get the table without reservation on Friday night. A good place to eat.

To start with its in a lovely building about 50m from the piazza duomo. Secondly although it's very trattoria style and not gourmet it really is a fine example of trattoria food and ambience. I had cuppa fagioli and stinco di maiale. Both excellent Claudia had minestrone and scallopini. Also v good. Big portions. We didn't finish it was so... More

Good quality , value , local restaurant with helpful and kind staff. I recommend octopus salad , spaghetti with clams , and grilled sea bream (catch of the day). Local white wine from etna was very nice as well.
