We had to drive out for a meal as our hotel's restaurant was unexpectedly closed. The manager recommended this place. Well away from the tourist trail, all of the other customers seemed to be locals on the night we were there. The ambience and food were excellent and this one of the most enjoyable meals during our three week tour... More

This is the hot spot on Sunday afternoon for anything seafood. Accommodates families, groups, or small tables. Food is excellent, as is the service. Showed up "not knowing" the situation but they found us a table, great service and the food is good value for the price. Would go back and did!

This is a restaurant you dream to find during your dream trip to Italy. We found it on the eleventh day of our trip after a dozen of earlier (usually disappointing) trials, and it was like eureka! We visited this remarkable restaurant for Sunday and Wednesday dinners and for both evenings the restaurant was full of local people and tourists.... More

If you are visiting this part of Tuscany please do not miss this restaurant. Most people head up the hill, but this is actually below Cortona run by a Neapolitan family who have brought delicious cooking (predominantly seafood) with great ingredients and no fuss. The sole was incredibly fresh as were all the other dishes and we enjoyed it so... More

You can tell this is a good place to eat as a) the clientele is nearly all local, and b) there is no waiter outside trying to drum up business. We had the mixed fish salad and linguine with lobster. The salad was octopus and squid but very well seasoned and not at all rubbery. The linguine came with half... More

If seafood is what you want, this is the place. The mixed grill gives you two fillets, a prawn and a langostino. Like most in this area, it is a family run business and they do a great job.

Great place for outstanding seafood. We ordered the octopus and tomato appetizer, and filet of sole and grilled shrimp for our mains and they were outstanding as was the fresh spinach vegetable. Adding the bottle of water and half bottle of the house wine -- total was EUR 52... A good value with outstanding service. The waiter was extremely pleasant... More

The warm freindly welcome awaits all who arrive . Reservations are meticulously. honored, very necessary since every table was booked all three evenings we dined here. A very ample wine list and water list is offered as the menues are given. Every kind of pasta and a large variety of seafoof dishes are offered. All are prepared exquisitely and are... More

I cannot recommend this place enough. We visited twice and had wonderful fish antipasti, followed by clams and sea bream, one time, and on the other occasion, we had antipasti, clam and prawn pasta and a pudding. The fish was fresh and the cooking delicate...a welcome change from the heavier cooking of the region. One visit was on Saturday night,... More

If you are tired of Fiorentina Meat have a break at this restaurant with the best fish in Cortona. Not touristy but full of locals. Let the owner, from Napoli (so he knows fish!) suggest the fish of the day. We had raw fish as appetizer and excellent grilled tuna for Main course. Pair with good local White wine from... More
