Great service, delicious food and the experience of eating in Etruscan caves that are old wine cellars is really cool. Lots of small spaces makes it feel very intimate despite having a good number of tables.

We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of the B&B we were staying in and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere (under stone arches) was great and a change from the piazza views and the food was really top notch without being too overly fussy. To start, I had the prawn, scallop and courgette pasta and my husband had... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a new friend, Ivan, that owns a fine art shop, Il Pozzo, next door. It opened up a month ago and and it outstanding!!! Besides being in a 600 year old building that looked like a cave; the food, wine; and service, which definitely includes Sara our waitress for two nights) it just... More

We have just arrived home after spending an idyllic 2 weeks in Tuscany, only 10 minute's drive from Cortona. Whilst visiting this beautiful hillside town, we were drawn down a small alley to Ad Braceria by the smell of woodsmoke from their pizza/bread oven. What a fantastic place. Set in old wine cellars, underneath the old streets and shops we... More

Went for dinner here on the recommendation of our hotel and pleased we did. Really nice place underground in what looks like an old wine cellar and the food was fresh and really tasty. Good service if a little slow (even by Italian standards!) but it was worth the wait and we weren't in any rush. The fresh pasta was... More

When we arrived with our little princess and the pushchair they did look startled but were very accommodating. Showed us to a table and insisted we leave the buggy at the table side. Water arrived straight away and a rustic bag of bread....all very positive. Waitress took the order after a wait and then the chaos started. The gorgeous Italian... More

My family and I just spent a week renting a lovely villa on the hillside of Cortona. It was an exquisite experience, for the most part. Our final two days unfortunately, were tainted by a stomach bug (or food poisoning) that my husband suffered immediately following his meal at Ad Braceria. The restaurant was lovely and welcoming as soon as... More

Our party of eight showed up a few weeks ago and we were welcomed into their beautiful dining room with gusto. We all had the Chimera beef, done to our individual tastes and it was nothing short of fabulous...one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. Great wine selection, great side dishes and service was impeccable.

If you're looking to experience Tuscan food, and not feel like a tourist, this is the place. Tito is accommodating, personal, and incredibly gracious-- he relishes in recommending dishes and is a true foodie. There are plenty of items for the less than adventurous, done well and authentically (the house pasta is sure to please). If you're looking for something... More

Tito and Annalisa have an amazing restaurant . Let them prepare your menu . The anti pasta Italiano was fabulous, along with the paccheri with ragu . Watching Tito prepare our grilled Misto was worth every minute !! Great food, service , and hospitality !!!
