Four of us had a wonderful supper prepared by Mario? Soup was very flavourful and veal steak was one of the best. You have to take what Mario has prepared for the day but no worries- it will be good. Small, quaint one-man business that...More

My husband and I were wandering around Cortona and decided to stop for lunch at about 1:30 when we just happened upon this tiny, homey restaurant. Mario greeted us warmly and we sat down to a delicious meal. On Mario's recommendation we shared a wonderful...More

Despite the owner being tired before his day off and having run out of many things, we had one of our best meals in Cortona here!

Small restaurant (fells very local). Mario - the owner simply cooks whatever he chooses that day. No menu but it doesn't matter because whatever you order will be great.

This restaurant offers great large & small dishes inspired by Etruscan culture and habits and cooked with locally produced ingedients! Considering the price tag and excellent service it certainly deserves A star!

This is the best pasta I have ever had anywhere in my life. It's an extra thick, homemade spaghetti-type noodle, with a pancetta creamy tomato sauce. The tiramisu is insanely good too. Fresh, real, made with love.

We have been visiting Cortona for 10 years and the Etrusca is the first place we head to. Mario is always friendly and welcoming. From the menu the Bruschetta, Pasta Fumo and Tagliata are favourites. There are often daily specials made with whatever is in...More

Had lunch at this restaurant. Was looking for something quick and settled on Pizza, which was very good. The wine was great and like the rest of Cortona, the wine was very inexpensive.
