My husband and I had lunch here 2 out of 3 days in Florence. The smoked trout was OUTSTANDING. Hands down, the best lunch/maybe the best food we had in Italy. The asiago and tomato dish was also ridiculously good. The wine selection was perfect...More

Good value, exceptional wine, meat and cheese. Lovely atmosphere sitting out on tables in courtyard. All of the tables were reserved from 7/7.30/8 onwards so recommend coming a little earlier or reserving for yourself! €30 for bottle of lovely red (served slightly chilled which is...More

We stopped in here based on the reviews we had seen, on our way back from visiting the Bardini gardens. It had been a long, hot day, and this was a great way to finish it. All the outside tables were booked but the friendly...More

Went before dinner for a glass of wine, stayed for 5. Excellent wine by the glass menu and one of the best charcuterie and cheese selection I've had in Italy. The owner was very nice and helped us select different types of wine to try....More

I went to this wine bar on a wine tour. It was super crowded but they had reserved a table so we squeezed in. I would love to go back here during off season to really enjoy it. We had some wonderful Tuscan Wines.

Very nice selection of wines by the glass or bottles. If you're staying on the Oltrarno it's a natural place to go near Ponte Vecchio or the Pitti. Service excellent, food quite good but limited menu. Best wine bar we went to in Firenze.

A great place to sample wines and enjoy some antipasto and charcuterie. The main down side include the limited food offering and we found our server to be much more engaged with the local diners than with us. She seemed like she could not be...More

Worth finding side street near Ponte Vecchio. Great wine bar that will discuss the wines to match the plates of different foods you order. Reds from little to stronger flavour, small tastes bedore the glass is poured. Recommend this place totally

Is it crucial to make a lunch reservation here for a Tuesday? I'm basing my impression on the positive and enthusiastic reviews. Thanks.

If you are able to reserve, it is probably worth it. It does get quite busy. We were quite lucky in that we got the last two stools at the 'bar' area inside. But on both occasions we visited, there were no tables outside... More
