Great meal, lively group of locals and visitors, great service. The paperdelle with wild boar ragu is outstanding as is the burrata with truffles. For an even greater experience when making a reservation ask to be seated at a table served by Martino. You can't miss with this establishment

We made a reservation at 19.30 hrs. They managed to have us out again at 20.30 hrs: antipasti-secondi-coffee! It is a very nice place, food is really good, price is okay for what is on offer. But be aware - your table will be reserved for another party. So better make a later booking.

I come here every time I'm in Florence, it's very cozy and the food is excellent, very friendly and professional staff! I'm sure to go back on my next trip! (The pappardelle are the best!)

We found this our least memorable meal in Florence. We ordered Tuscan staples - pappa al pomodoro; burrata; and the signature wild boar with polenta. The bready tomato soup was bland and just didn't really hit the spot. The burrata was served so cold it was practically tasteless, and in texture it was more like a mass-produced mozzarella than a... Excellent meal, friendly service, nice atmosphere. Some dishes very rich, so beware. The onion flan appetizer is a good example. But delicious.

Very good food, but don’t get the house red wine. Great welcoming atmosphere & service. Close to the Ponte Vecchio, on 'other side'.

The food and ambience were just lacking something. We did not feel the warmth you are supposed to when dining. The food was good but nothing to rave about. The same can be said for the service. Not a must stop when visiting this beautiful city.

I ate here two years ago and swore I would return. The service is attentive and charming and the food is orgasmic. I ate here for four nights and each meal surpassed the previous one. The chicken breast in parmareggio sauce with fresh truffles was to die foe, I couldn't resist and had it twice.

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel but turned out to be a huge disappointment I ordered risotto that was watery and too salty and the main course, a boar dish, was mediocre.

My wife and I discovered Osteria Del Cinghuali Bianco on our wedding trip to Florence the year 2000. We returned in 2005 and 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed each visit to this restaurant. It is all about the location, atmosphere, staff and food. A must visit location in Florence!

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
