Authentic and excellent Italian food The house winks good and very reasonable price The seafood spaghetti is so yummy ! Big prawn and generous portions of mussels and clams. Definitely my favourite. Today special is braised ox stomach which is tender and surprisingly tasty. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the whole family enjoy the lunch very much.

Very nice neighborhood restaurant. We arrived to our "room" late and were starving, so our hotel manager recommended Brincello, which was handy, as it was literally across the street. The atmosphere was darling, with the walls painted bright colors and the feeling cozy. We ordered a bottle of red wine (oops, just meant to order a glass) and then shared... More

The interior is very special with walls in yellow/orange and very light. The food was disappointing, the waiter first questioned our order and asked why we should eat what we've selected. Lots of better choices in Mercato Centrale or at Via Faenza.

I usually don't write reviews but seeing as this is my first solo trip, thought I would add my thoughts. I was staying at the Plus Florence hostel and needed a nearby place for dinner. I ordered the seafood tagliatelle and it was too salty. I don't like wasting food, so I felt bad and kept eating, but when I... More

We decided upon this restaurant as it was opposite our hotel on Via Nazionale (Hotel Cantoria) & the menu looked attractive. We shared a L of house white wine (€11) & a litre of water (€2). We were directed to the specials board. We shared Gnocchi (€8) & Pici with meat sauce (€9)-very good! We also shared chicken in wine... More

We ate here twice on a short trip to Florence. Conveniently located just steps from our hotel. The menu had a lot of choices for my kids. We always went with a combo of pasta, pizza and salad. My son loved his Margherita pizza. My salads were tasty. We sat inside to cool off. Nice reprieve from the jammed streets.... More

We had a first course of spaghetti with tomato garlic and chilli which was really lovely and great food! The main course was not so good I ordered the creamy balsamic chicken which was not creamy in the slightest but grilled chicken with balsamic vinegar on top. My partner had the beef with mushrooms which he was happy with. The... More

In comparison to other meals we had in 3 weeks in France and Italy, this, while ok, didnt measure up. No creativity and food so-so. 2/4 liked it 2/4 did not. Started w/ a zucchini app covered in something akin to a won ton wrapper. Tasted ok but presentation not very appetizing. Just tossed on a plate. 2 had pasta... More

We chose to eat here after reading positive reviews, but were really disappointed by the food and service. The waiter ignored us, held off on putting our order in and the food, when it arrived, was incredibly salty, and the bread was stale. The one saving grace was that it wasn't overly expensive, although definitely not value for money.

I visited this restaurant 3 times(first time was 4 years ago); it never disappointed me. I love Pici(homemade pasta) especially. Pici with meat sauce or Pici with tomato sauce are both tasty. The steak was great as well.
