I ate many times at Buca dell’orafo and it’s always worth it. The location is suggestive and it’s one of the best places to eat traditional Tuscany food in Florence. I suggest the tagliolini al tartufo (when it’s period), the trippa and the Fiorentina. One...More

We were recommended this restaurant, by an Italian guide who we had joined for a food gastronomy tour. Let me be honest here - this restaurant was a second choice for us, having been turned down at Buca Lapi, where we had had no reservations....More

Although a little claustrophobic, with low ceiling and packed tables, the food is outstanding and the service very professional. Our party of five ordered a range of dishes, each one was wonderful. However the risotto with pigeon (piccone) was truly outstanding. The main course of...More

This tiny, hole in the wall establishment serves wonderful food to those lucky to get a table. There is a two hour lunch period and three hour dinner period. Always busy so if you are interested in dining here then a reservation is a must.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after walking the streets looking for an Osteria we had seen the day before but could not find again. It was a very pleasant surprise. With most dinners opting to sit in the courtyard we had essentially a private dining...More

We had dinner here the other night after a recommendation from our hotel as a great local place to eat. We thought the prices were very reasonable for being in the centre of the main city. The waiters were very lovely and felt like a...More
