Real Italian atmosphere, genuine Italian experience! It was nothing like the majority of cafes for tourists... so if you want to see a real Italian pizzeria, by all means come here!

We were taken by our guide, Giovanna, and told the best pizza in Florence. She was right. The best and we had several on top of which, we're from Brooklyn, so we know pizza!

Visited 13.7.17 for tea- they weren't open when we called at 6.30pm so we waited in the square outside for an hour with a gelato. It was certainly worth the wait! Proper authentic, Italian food - we each had pizzas which were fantastic. The desserts...More

Although the restaurant has a lot of certifications and is highly recommended on Trip advisor, we thought the pizza was just ok, nothing exceptional. The place is also a little tight but it is good if you want to grab something quick and cheap

Not to gush, but this was the best food in a 2 week trip to Florence and Rome. The pizzas are baked perfectly, and there must be 2 dozen options to choose from (stracchino e speck was a delight, as was the prosciutto). We visited...More

Very friendly owner and staff. The best pizza in Florence! A small unpretrentious place, a bit out of the beaten track.

Santa Croce
Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the
Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night.
Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and
artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the
Central National Library. As a hub for young people,
the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a
continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated
by songs and dances.

I was there two years ago and the prices were great - we ordered burrata, pizza and wine for two and paid less than 30 euros.
