We ended up coming here Twice and we booked for 2nd visit which is advisable to secure a table as a very popular place with locals too. Menu is wonderful with plenty of choice The owner and the ambience of this place makes it more of a dining experience with excellent food and drink as there is no pressure to... More

We stumbled across this little trattoria by accident and wow! Amazing tasty food, freshly cooked and a menu that changes daily. We booked to go back for our last meal of the trip and it was superb. Staff were friendly, remembered us from our previous visit and the whole atmosphere was of true Italy. Could not recommend more for real... More

THIS place. We ended up here for lunch and had tried to go the night before but we couldn't get a table. So, we put it on our list for the next day and prepared ourselves for a heavy lunch! I ate SO much pasta throughout Italy (when in Rome, right?) and I had my moments where I questioned, "Should... More

So we checked out the reviews for La Burrasca and decided to eat there on a Tuesday night. This night our food was absolutely amazing, the steak we had was some of the best we had ever eaten that melted in our mouths. The potatoes were even good. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back for... More

Nice hidden gem, trattoria style but has that authentic feel. Menu written down in pen on a sheet of A4! Plenty of locals in here and it was recommended to us from an earlier tour we had been on, otherwise doubt we would have come across it. We didn't make a reservation but arrived on 7pm and our kind waiter... More

Small, quaint and very accommodating to personal preferences. La Burrasca has fantastic first courses (pastas and soups), and a variety of second courses and side dishes. The house wine is perfect with just pasta or for a whole meal. This is one of my favorite places to go for a light lunch, great service and good conversation with friends.

Our last night in Florence (2nd Nov) and the best. Clean plates all round. Delicious Tuscan food with efficient, characterful service and great value. We will return.

We found this wonderful restaurant through Rick Steves and we are so happy we followed Rick suggestion. This is a small family run restaurant that serves top notch Italian cuisine. This was our second trip to Florence and we ate at the restaurant several times during our stay, and each time the food was simply wonderful. The flavours were a... More
