Service was very good and accommodating. The house white was the best part of the meal. Adequate for a late night meal as fewer restaurants are open. A bit disappointed with flavors and freshness.

Lasagna was divine! Near the duomo but away from the hustle and bustle. Cozy and friendly. Nice place to take a break and enjoy food unhurriedly.

This nice and cosy restaurant has the best food of Florence for a really good price. The staff is really friendly and helpful. You should try the pasta with salmon or one of the delicious pizzas. Don't arrive at noon but later as the sun is then on the terrace.

Great food, wine and service, excellent value for money and the service was fantastic. Located right in the centre of Florence this restaurant was a big hit, I would eat here again (may be tonight) especially if I have the steak again which was perfect.

Not far from the cathedral, we had some lovely pizzas and wine at a reasonable price considering the location. We'll recommended.

We stopped in this small Pizzeria while walking through Florence. It is between the Duomo and the Accademia Art Museum, where we saw the statue of David. So it is convenient if you are seeing the sites in Florence. The staff was great, very inviting as we came in. They spoke to us in pretty good English so that we... More

We stumbled upon this little gem after abandoning a very central restaurant which failed to provide its set menu. We sat outside and had a wonderful mixed starter of crostini, meats and cheese and then the best pizza I've ever had in Italy-all for a very reasonable price!

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
