The afternoon began with a discussion and tasting of two different olive oils. Then we moved onto cheeses and wines. We discussed the elements of the wine and why they were paired as they were. We had a great time and learned a lot about the traditional Tuscan wines.

Fantastic wine shop with olive oils, jams, cheeses and meats, very well set out and decorated with a good atmosphere. I had booked a wine and cheese tasting with my partner and turned out we were the only ones there that evening. Livio was extremely knowledgeable and talked us through the wines and cheese, the history and different flavours. We... More

An excellent store for wine and to have a bite to eat for lunch. The proprietor is a high level sommelier and is extremely knowledgeable about wines. And the panini are fantastic freshly made to order, reasonably priced and delicious. The location is just around the corner from the central market in Florence behind some of the stalls of the... While on a walking food tour in Firenze we stopped into the lovely store. We sampled two different kinds of wine and had some little treats. The owner was kind and appreciated our group.

I went inside to ask about some information on wine tastings and the guy blew me off saying I had to book in advance. I told him that I was just curious and wanted some information about the tastings. I was told it was 25 euros to taste 4 different wines... I hope those are some tall tasting glasses for... More

We went here to taste some oils and vinegars, and the man working was extremely rude and said they don't do tastings. Based on the reviews below, is why we went. Not worth the trek.

This is a great place to take a break from the tourist attractions and busy markets to enjoy some of Italy's fine wines. The staff was very friendly - we sat outside and enjoyed some fairly premium wine (7.5 EUR/glass) sitting at the street tables. Tips: they accept credit card. You'll get a bowl of bread twists for free, so... More

Lovely little wine and gourmet shop run by two sommiliers. We had a wonderful wine tasting paired with the shops gourmet foods and bread. They even have their own brew of IPA beer. My husband really appreciated that. Very knowledgeable and kind staff. Great location in the food and leather market.

Absolutely wonderful! Our wine and cheese tasting was spent with the owner and he really knew his stuff. We were in a cosy group of 8 and were taken through tasting a number of wines along with cheeses to complement them. He was really passionate about wine and it came across, and we really enjoyed the selection he introduced us... More

We stumbled upon this gem after a morning of browsing the leather markets. It can easily be missed because it is quite hidden behind the far end of the market. Firstly, the interiors are stunning - a whole wall (like a bookshelf) of delicious wines, large marble sinks full of dried foods, and shelves of local produce. There are half... More
