When in Florence I always have a spicy and green sauce lampredotto at this conveniently located food stall in Florence downtown. As a stall you can't expect a 5stars service nevertheless the staff is friendly and above all they really love their job. The lampredotto sandwich is fantastic and also believe that the price is fair

We were looking for a place to eat and i remembered that there could be a restaurant in Piazza Cimatori that was still visited by the Florentines themselves. However, when i arrived there I saw the Antico Trippaio food truck and suddenly remembered that it was there 50 years ago! It is part and parcel of Florence, almost a tradition... More

Lampredotto (cow stomach sandwich) was on my list of typical Florence foods that I would like to try. When I saw this food truck while wandering around in Florence, I felt that I have found the right place to try this local street food. The gentleman vendor was patient to answer my questions about options I had. Eventually I picked... More

Stumbled upon this place while waiting to enter a museum. Its a small little street food place with great sandwiches. The guy was very friendly and didn't mind that we took a little while to order. I had the porchetta and my friend had a salami & cheese sandwich. They each were 4.5 euros and pretty big! However the salami... More

This food truck has delicious food! My husband and I ordered a tripe salad, and a tripe sandwich which were both finger licking good! This is a must have! It's a food truck that only has 6 stools to sit down, so most people eat standing up. This place was always packed.

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
