Can't help but stop in here while in the center of Florence. Many fresh flavors of gelato and quick service. Small inside but never a long line for their delicious gelato. Never can eat too much!

Me and my girlfriend visited Florence for the first time but I was in Italy several times before. Firthermore we do have excellent icecream in Switzerland, too. Nonetheless I must admit, I never had such a great icecream as at the Gelatissimo. It had a great, natural taste, a rich choice of all kinds of flavours and cones. Furthermore the... More

My husband and I and four family members visited Florence in June. We bought gelato at every place we found it as we really enjoy it and wanted to find the best the city had to offer. After many trials (and probably a few extra pounds!), we all voted for Gelatissimo as the best we experienced! The selection of flavors... More

This place is a must go, near the Ponte Vecchio! The selection of flavours are simply delicious! I myself wanted to try every flavour and savour each mouthful. It is fantastic and a good deal! It is not that expensive and there are seats outside, so you can sit down, relax, eat gelato, and admire the scenic view. Amazing! Refreshing!... More

With a lot of flavors, colors and sizes, this small Gelatto Store is just amazing! It is not that cheap, but the Gelatto has a diferent consistence, that makes the difference. The place? Near to Vecchio Bridge, and at board of Arno River... Take one, enjoy the view and refresh yourself!

Fantastic, fruity gelato. Loads of flavours and generous helpings. Just at the end of the Ponte Vecchio. Buy 6 and get the 7th free!

I loved the wile berry flavor. It was the very first gelato I tried in Italy! The staff was the friendliest in Florence. If you are by the Ponte Vecchio be sure to give it a try. If you are going to be in Florence for awhile, ask about their loyalty card. After 6 purchases, you receive a free small... More

Thank goodness there are lots of ice cream shops in Florence, because we visited when it was very hot. We must have had a dozen ice creams our entire trip and all from different shops. This was by far the best tasting and unique ice cream. The creamy taste was immense. We opted for the picolo option (the smallest), mainly... More

Wish we'd discovered Gelatissimo before the last day of our trip, instead of eating inferior gelato ice cream up until then at Florence's many ice cream parlours. Much better depth of flavour than that eaten from other places and guess they must use better ingredients. Highly recommended.
