Forget about all the tourist gelato north of the river Arno, piled in massive, luminous heaps in every window. The trip into Oltrarno south of the river to find this little gem is well worth it! Situated on a small piazza with a park in...More

We have been in the country for 2 weeks now and have great gelato back home. Having said that, this is easily the best we have had so far... believe the hype in the other reviews! The chocolate was silky, the salted caramel had little...More

We had this recommended by some friends and it did not disappoint. Amazing flavours, really great quality gelato. A bit off the main tourist trail but it's easy to find and well worth it.

La Sorbetteria is one of the best ice cream shops here in Florence. They offer particular tastes, and I would totally recommend getting the Salted Caramel. Always a go-to for local florentines!

Delicious, creamy & full of flavour! The staff is very friendly too. Minimal outdoor seating but it's beside the Piazza Tasso where there are benches & shade. There are always locals here too which is the best review! May not have the largest selection but...More

The best ice cream in town and no doubt one of the best worldwide. Authentic ingredients, unusual and well balanced tastes, no artificial additives, not sickly sweet as most ice creams are, creamy texture and very good cones. Kind owners and nice location, adjacent to...More

This very small artisanal Gelateria is simply delicious. It was our favorite in Florence and one of the best in Italy. We were served by the owner and master himself. It was so cool to speak with someone who took such pride in his work....More

Escape from tourist hell and walk a little bit further than the Palazzo Pitti to this little square. You won't regret it. The gelato beats the stuff they try to sell you around Ponte Vecchio.

Went here on the suggestion of a local. Gelato was very good, staff very friendly, and willing to answer questions regarding gluten free status of the flavours (all are GF). Will be going back for sure.
