Proper bar which don't seem to exist to the naked eye. Reasonable prices seen as its right in the centre. It's a small place full of locals but made to feel welcome. One problem it shuts at 8pm not sure if this is because it's winter. Loved it!

The best tasting bagels, paninos and most inexpensive spot right around the corner from San Lorenzo and literally 2 min walk from Mercato Centrale! The hosts(husband and wife) Stefano and Anna are the loveliest and most helpful people you will meet. Btw they also speak English. I am a foreigner living here and have made this place a regular stop, whether... More

Don't let the outside dissuade you. This little gem is owned by two of the most lovely folks you'll meet in Firenze and the food is simple, tasty and the right price.

We were looking for a place for a light lunch snack and discovered this little gem. The outside looks simple but welcoming and the surprise is the gorgeous back room. Lovely tiled tables, interesting wall art and peaceful. The owner was friendly and helpful; recommended panini and a great local beer. Inexpensive and tasty. A welcome break from the tourist... Went every morning of our week stay in Florence to this small cafe just around the corner from the tourist drag, but a world apart. Great cafe (and torta riso!) and very friendly couple running the bar. Sit outside on the pavement on the two bar stools and watch the world go by or hide in the cosy room at... More

Finally I found a place where you can find the real Italian atmosphere. Anna & Stefano (owners) are the greatest people you can meet during your stay in Firenze. Always ready to help and serve awesome cappuccino, caffe, pastries and bagels. From breakfast to aperitif time are always open except on Sunday. If you go late in the evening don't... More

We were looking for a quick bit and came across this place on TA. We stopped in to order sandwiches to go, and the owner could not have been friendlier. He saw us looking at the sandwiches and offered to make us whatever we'd like and went on to list many ingredients to choose from. When we asked for the... More
