Wonderful Trattoria, always consistent, very traditional cuisine and decor. Lovely atmosphere. My favorite dish is the very simple white beans with tuna, my husband loves anything fried and they do an especially nice fresh porcini mushroom salad in October.

Went twice during our stay! Make sure to try their chicken curry with chutney! They have good fish too!

With a varied menu of pastas and main, this traditional but creative restaurant delighted with every course. Cozy and quaint, the decor was standard, and the staff professional (though not overtly friendly). A great spot!

Very welcoming traditional Tuscan trattoria. Love the fact they serve their own products like Olive oil etc. Starters were served quickly and were very tasty, Bresaola, insulate Caprese and Parma ham. Mains were also great Ribbolita, Tagliatelle with Porcini was excellent. My only comment is that in other areas we would have had all this for €50-60 I walked out... More

Had a hugely satisfying dinner on our last night in Florence. The staff is outstanding and that was only slightly exceeded by the quality of the dishes. Clearly a favorite of locals -it was so warm that we felt a part of the extended family. Make a reservation so you won't be disappointed. (We made one for the same day... More

You need to make a reservation if you want to have lunch or dinner here as it is always very crowded. If a usual customer comes to the place, and even if you have a reservation, they will pass you and will be seated before you in front of your face. That’s the only bad point of the restaurant. If... The eight of us had Allen as our server (been there 27 years) and have a wonderful time and excellant food and wine. A definite stop if you are in Florence.

Amazing local flavors and wine. Service is impeccable and love that they know you will share so they automatically split it for you.

In the Altarno section across the Ponte Vecchio from the old town, a great experience. Very friendly host and staff, and a varied menu. Lots of locals eat here so make a reservation a day or two in advance or else get there right when they open, which is 7:30'ish. I would recommend a dish but everything our party of... More

Nice place to go, have a dinner or a lunch, share a special moment with someone or friends. A little crowd and small place as usual in Europe, but with a very nice atmosphere, very friendly service and good food. The price is not that expensive considering place and the city, a regular dish may cost between €15,00 and €35,00,... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
