The food is great. I took vegetarian main course and it was spectacular. Simple but spectacular. I eat there the best desserts in my life. I tried six different desserts and each was wonderful. They have the best cheese cake in the world!

This place is a real gem. So different from the usual "local" (restaurant) food. The food somehow managed to be sophisticated and yet home style. It was the food I'd been hoping to taste it Italy and in Tuscany particularly. Standout dishes were the rabbit and the cheesecake. Unforgettable.

Very memorable and unique evening at this restaurant. Amazing food. Lovely waiters and waitresses. My son was treated like royalty!

This restaurant is just outside the main tourist area, so we ate with mainly Italians in the room. The food was outstanding - traditional Tuscan fair. The service staff was knowledgeable and gracious. If you want a true taste of Florence, this is your spot.

I booked this dinner as a special treat. It fell a little short of this. I didn't mind the lack of actual menus (the staff talk you through the options) but it does mean you can't have time for a ponder on what you want. Once ordered (starter 22€, main 40€ pudding 15€ each) a surprise and huge collection of... More

The relatively low ranking of this place is completely undeserved. I think it is due to past hyperbole by travel guides and people who have some fixed notion of what fine dining is. This place is indeed funky and quirky, with the maestro picking stuff out from the nearby San Ambrogio market. No, not regular Tuscan or regular Michelin. That... More

This is "the" must go restaurant of Florence, if you really want a unique dinner. We had an unforgettable dinner, where there was no written menu but a lady explaining all the options in great detail. The food was fantastic, atmosphere authentic and the setting romantic.

This very nice restaurant with 5 star service. Very specific way to order food-you have personal Server who provide you with full information about food options. You are getting quite many details how these food are prepared. It is expensive restaurant. Very nice if you want to have romantic dinner and good time.

I'd read in a few blogs that this was one of 'the' restaurants in Florence and was surprised to see its 'low rating' of about 600 of all the restaurants on trip advisor. I have to say, the setting is super romantic. Red velvet bucket chairs and artwork strewn across the walls. The staff were proud to work for Cibreo... More

An extensive local menu, rich in unique dishes (pigeon anyone?) and high-fat specialties (pate, sausage, cheeks, meat dishes with poached egg added) served in a most unusual way: no menu, but the maitre d' sits down at your table, personally explains the menu, and takes your order!
