Visited twice in my short visit and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I still think about the amazing panini and kind staff. Make sure you get one of the sandwiches with cheese!

Service was very quick and the sandwitch OK and fresh. It felt expensive for the quantity though. the sandwitcherie down the same street convinced us way more ( see review)

Our sandwiches were great, and packed a nice crispy texture in the bread with a good amount of ham or vegetables for its filling. Perfect for on the go and it was a unique sandwich compared to the other sandwich places we stopped by in Florence.

The best sandwich place (Italian Panini) in Florence. Trust the two brothers who will suggest and prepare for you the best combination of local sandwiches.

We wanted a cheap lunch, on the go and we had heard this place was good for it. We each had a sandwich, with ham and cheese and both got a small glass of wine. It was about 15-20 € for the whole thing. There are no tables, so we sat on the sidewalk. If you have wine, you need... More

This restaurant serves simple, well crafted sandwiches/ paninis at an amazing price. However, the price is not to be confused with quality/taste. They use the freshest of ingredients and their sandwiches do not compromise with taste. Their spicy salami was incredibly tasty and so was their pecorino romano cheese. You can also get some prosecco to accompany your lunch. They... More

Panini (sandwiches) are probably the most common Italian street food and here you can find very tasty ones. If you do not feel like sitting in a restaurant, but just have a quick break, this is your place. Close to the Duomo, it offers a variety of more than 30 sandwiches and different tuscany wines. You cannot miss it while... More

After a long and tiring sightseeing tour we stopped for snacks at this little shop. The days we were here we noticed that queues are non-stop but service is quick. It is very popular, the staff speaks English well and they are very friendly. There is no seating but who cares! Grab your sandwich and a blog away come to... More

Loved this place! A simple hole in the wall serving panini's and wine quickly, freshly made and very tasty. A huge menu of fillings to choose from and only 5 euros each including the wine. You eat by the side of the hole (there's little shelves to hold your wine while you eat) - perfect for watching the world go... More

I rarely eat at placed full of tourists and search for local places. But this one was one of the few exceptions. Very acceptable price for a delicious sandwich and a glass of ok wine. I preferred tuna, onions and tomato. It's so close to Florence's cathedral and worth trying.

Thank Nikayeen

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
