Very close to Piazza della Signoria, this ice cream parlour offers a good selection of flavours, sometimes a little different. Their quality is consistent and the price very fair. They also have a few seats

We are So sorry for the inconvenience, but in winter we always close at 8:00 PM, 11:00 PM is the Summer time. We didn't see wrong time, unfortunately it's not so easy change time in tripadvisor. More

Yes there are tons of gelato places, you probably can't pick a bad one, but this is my favorite. I always ask the people behind the counter what they like. They always lead me to something I would not have tried and something that is outstanding. A few years ago it was banana (really!). I would never have tried that.... More

Fresh ingredients only gelato. There are fillers or additives. Leaves a clean fresh taste in the mouth. This is our favorite gelato ever.

Me and my wife went to Firenze last year and I must have gone into this place 5 times to get a pistachio gelato, best in town (And we did try all other places ranked above this one on TA, so we know what we are talking about). Highly recommended!

Delicious gelato made in house at this cute, little, centrally located shop. This felt more authentic than some of the other gelato places we ate at.

During my 10 days in Italy I had gelato at least once a day. Our Florence tour guide recommended this place and I'm glad I went. They make their gelato fresh daily and you can definitely taste it! The flavours are genuine and they use fresh ingredients. The service is really great too. I wished I was able to try... More

I went to Perche No the first time I visited Florence in 1974, so when I returned this September and saw that the place was still in business, I went in. I was not disappointed. The ice cream and sherbet are still every bit as good as I remembered them. Some of the gelateria's in Florence have started using emulsifiers... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
