How to describe a Central American hole in the wall landing in Florence? Great 60s etc music, nice snacks, world beer, etc... This is a small (although we haven't checked up and downstairs) place with great staff. We enjoy this place for a necessary stop in the day. I believe an apperitivo is at 5. Take a break here.

Stumbled across this gem by accident. The barman looks like Albert Einstein and puts together a ruthless combination of alcohol in his shots. Bags of character and very friendly.

You MUST stop at Eby's for a shot. The head bartender looks like Albert Einstein and is equally genius when it comes to shot creation.

Found this place when rushing to a tour in Florence and I've been back 3 times since! So far I've only tried the croquettes and empanadas but both were delicious. Everything is handmade and the employees really seem to take pride in their food which makes all the difference! The sangria is next to try on my list!

We just stopped there for drinks and ordered a coffe, and 2 mojitos (mojitos di Hemingway if I remember the name well). Well, the mojitos were prepared with such attentions and care as we could see from outside, and were great. A plate with nachos, guacamole and tomato souce was given to us to snack on and was comprised on... More

I have been frequenting Eby's any time I'm in Florence since I lived there in 2002 - and it's always delivered! Eby makes amazing fillings for burritos, the house made tortillas are incredible, and the guacamole and sangria can't be beat. Plus, Eby's is open late, so when you're wandering between bars you can stop for a quick and delicious... More

We took nachos, one smoothy (wonderful) and glass of prosecco. It was just before our dinner. The waitress was nice and the place easy going.

What a wonderful place for some cocktail theatre. Amazing tasting shots prepared by an Einstein lookalike. Lovely service, homely feel, with intergalactic concoctions!

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
