we were staying just up the road so checked out this lovely little restaurant. the food wine and service were just fantastic and very reasonably priced. the view from the terrace over the tuscan hills is truly magical especially if you go as the sun is setting. you cannot ask for a better place to have an evening meal.

We were riding bikes above Lucca and ran across this as it started to rain. Outstanding food, service, view. Couldn't have had a nicer lunch anywhere.

There is a nice terrace with stunning views. There are just a few tables available, don´t miss to book a table. Service, food and wine is very good but not cheap. Try to reach in time for sunset.

This is a great restaurant. It is located in the country side so is best accessed if you have a car. All of the food we tried was very good and the staff was friendly.

My partner and I dined at Lombardo on the recommendation of the proprietor at Fabbrica Di San Martino, a farmhouse where we were staying down the road about 2 miles closer to town. Both are located along the "wine route" that extends into the foothills above Lucca. For us Lombardo was a pleasant walk from our accommodations, even late at... More

The meats are just superb, perfectly grilled, be it the pork or the beef. The duck is good too when on the menu. Not cheap. Nice service (but slow).

Turned up as it was opening for evening service, on the recommendation of Azienda Agricola Fabbrica Di San Martino just down the road. The staff were accommodating and friendly, ensuring that our one year old was properly looked after at the table. The food was outstanding, some of the best we've had in Italy. It was dark when we arrived,... More

Our son recommended this restaurant to us. It sits on top of the hill above my ancestral home. From the terrace you can see all the way to Livorno. The food is cooked perfectly and tastes great. The gnocchi were little pillows with a tomato sauce that was so good that scarpetta is a must. The florentine steak was huge... More

Told this was a great restaurant and certainly looked busy. We booked and arrived early. The view was stunning watching the sun go down over the hills but this is where the good bit stopped. It is an expensive restaurant €50 a head about. The menu looked enticing but the food did not live up to that. The pasta was... More
