This restaurant was recommended by a local shop owner. It was his favorite restaurant and it is now mine. Great food, service, and atmosphere.

Our first night in Lucca we walked to the BucadiSantAntonio and went back another night the same week. Thankfully we were there ahead of the "Comics and Games" event which promised to create a human crush during the coming week The elegantly dressed waiters were gracious and the food was cooked to perfection -- just what I expect in Italy... A wonderful restaurant serving traditional Tuscan dishes in a pleading atmosphere. Copper pots and old brass instruments hang from the ceiling as befitting it's origins as a mid 18th century tavern. The prices are reasonable given all the fine food and old-fashioned service. We enjoyed the free prosecco and hot antipasti when we arrived as well as the superbly prepared... More

This used to be the best restaurant in Lucca. Whilst it's still OK we did not have a special experience and Restaurants Giglio All'Olivo to name two are a much better experience. It's very crowded and our impression was that they had too few staff. Food was OK but not as good as elsewhere. This was our third visitover the... More

The tuxedo attired waiters here are the most friendly we have ever encountered in Italia. Even the chef came out of the kitchen came out to ask if we enjoyed our meal. A tiny bit pricey, but well worth it for the service and the quality of the food. Don't pass up the opportunity for a great meal.

We ate here as a group of 8, we all had an enjoyable experience in the cellar part of the restaurant where we had a very nice secluded area to dine in. The staff are very good with menu and wine selection which we value.

Service was attentive but not intrusive. The food was well cooked and presented. Always a nice touch to get an hors d’oeuver and a complimentary prosecco (yes I know it is included in the bill really). The restaurant has a nice “Italian” feel. Nice wine list with lots of local choices On the pricier end in Lucca but worth it.
