I had seen this restaurant on Tripadvisor. First impressions were not great as the proprietor looked a bit glum and when my husband asked for either shell crackers and/or a finger bowl for his seafood dish he shrugged his shoulders, brought more napkins and told him to be happy as he was on holiday! That said both our starters and... More

Just returned to our hotel having eaten an amazing meal. The owner was so helpful, a lovely man!! Started with mixed beans with prawns and Tuscan meats. Very wholesome and tasty. Tagliatelle with asparagus and prawns and a huge steak were mouthwatering. The owner made me a selection of desserts which were delicious. Wine was really good. All this for... More

Loved this place, no nonsense pretension just great food beautifully cooked and presented. Enjoyed it so much we returned for a second time. Beautiful fish, pasta and gnocchi. It has become a favourite place for our Grandson to eat as he is studying in Pisa.

Discovered this place by accident while visiting Pisa with a group of friends when we got lost. We turned up without a reservation at 10 pm and were given a table without any hesitation. Food was extremely good and a large selection of items are available. Staff were very accommodating and extremely friendly. Would definitely recommend for dinner in Pisa.

Good meal. Free prosciutto & bread. Mini sausages weren't so mini. Fish was O.K. but a little bony. Pasta was not spicy as advised it would be. Bill reasonable, but have had better value elsewhere in Pisa.

Excelent food and drink. Typical Italian restaurant. Enjoy the pasta, specially the carbonara. The owner is very friendly.

Was told the dish was fish and vegetables, got served squid and tough leeks. Asked for a glass of wine, no selection, got served half a mug. Replacement food took 30 minutes. Nice sauce on the uninspiring gnocchi.

This place to be considered as hidden gem of restuarents around Pisa central station as this is located off the main road. We were there for Lunch. This place is maintained by elderly couple and it gives the feeling of home made food. We have ordered mussles spaghetti and gnocchi. We liked both dishes. We were so full that we... More

Only 125 metres from the station and the owner was more than happy for us to bring suitcases inside the restaurant (better than storage locker at train station!). Nice gnocchi and steak, very good house wine and owner/waiter was such a gent. Quite dated in there (circa 60's) but kind of adds to the charm. Owner was very happy for... More

This is simply amazing restaurant - owners are one of the warmest and nicest people we've met! You really feel at home there, and the food lives up to the highest standards. We had two different pastas and both were melting in mouth. Also the wine selection was really good in that restaurant - you can pick the bottle from... More
