Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this lovely restaurant following a recommendation from our hotel. Food and wine was magnificent as was the service. The best restaurant we attended over a 4 night trip to Florence and Pisa.

Easy to find, inside is a good space with relaxed atmosphere and low peaceful music. Menu in English provided, and the staff spoke English very well. Recommendations to listen for, when they say spicy they mean it. The tortellini with ragu had me wiping the plate. Lovely focaccia. That semifreddo with berries went down smoothly. Coffee just right. Wine selection... More

We wanted to have some tuscan traditional dinner and we weren't dissappointed. Waiter was very professional, food and wine was great. If you want to enjoy local food in a quiet place then this ristorante is a good choice.

4 of us happened upon this restaurant on a Sunday and a holiday. A lot of places were not open so we did not expect much. What a surprise did we have to find excellent food and more than just gracious service. Waiters were patient, smiling and helpful. Superb appetizers that I wished I photographed them, included salmon carpaccio, fried... More

We had a recommendation from our small hotel. What a delightful restaurant! We had fried anchovies and marinated salted cod for starters and followed with fresh, perfectly cooked pasta, just slightly firm, with different ragù from deer and hare. A bottle of Tuscan wine, "Bulizio," accompanied it superbly. The staff were friendly, young, and handsome. La vita è bella.

We hadn't previously had much luck with restaurants in Pisa, so asked our hotel staff for a recommendation and are so glad that we did. We liked the friendly welcome and found the staff informative and genuinely keen to help. We chose the fixed menu and enjoyed all four courses, especially the excellent ravioli with wild boar sauce. The house... More
