We were hungry after visiting the tower and found this restaurant that was the only one open in the neighborhood due to the timing (it was before 12pm). I took a plate of pasta with truffle, which was the best truffle ever i tasted, it was freshly grated on my plate infront of me. And the pasta was of the... More

We were invited by an Italian partner to dine in Da Bruno. We had a 5 course dinner. Out of the 5 plates the 3 were excellent, Tagliata was the best of all. The olive oil used was very good in quality, wine was excellent. Service was a little bit snobish but very good.

Great old fashionned italian restaurant, those we would love to see more often. Simple rustic but traditional and good homemade cuisine. Piero ( the owner) had just received some fresh Porcini mushrooms he prepared simply stir fried with garlic an olive oil. A delight

Decided to keep it light so stuck to primi only. All 4 dishes very well executed. Ravioli with mushroom, parpadelle with duck sauce and two seafood pasta dishes (Ravioli with red mullet and tagliolini with sea bass) well presented, well served and tasted good. They do a set menu with 3 courses coffee and wine for euros 25 if you... More

Food was amazing, the Tuscan soup is heavenly. Great service as well and they speak a little English, which was rather helpful. Went back for more the next day.

a nice local restaurant just outside the old city center. Nice typical interior, and a good menu. The quality is good and the service friendly. It was however a bit pricy to Italian standards.

When I asked at my hotel for the best restaurant in Pisa, this is the place that they told me i should eat at. I did. First of all, the service was condescending and plates appeared one after the other, with no break in-between at all. My crostini with chicken liver pate looked like it had dried blood on it,... Great local restaurant, off the tourist trail - Nearly all diners were Pisan's / locals. A little apprehensive at first - right on a busy main road and quite a cluttered restaurant with photos of celebs who had dined there. But what a lovely surprise. The food was first class and fish is a speciality of the house. The service... More
