Simple menu (only in Italian), good execution and prompt service. Burrata with fried artichokes was divine. Great value compared to city center. Smooth vino rosso Della casa

This little place is back to basics and looks like it has remained unchanged since the 80s. It looks like a little family run tavern and prices are good. We had great vegetarian food - try the fried artichokes and the Ravioli with sage/spinach/cheese. The Pecorino cheese with fig marmalade was ok but we should probably have tried the Mozzarella... This place is off the beaten path, for sure. My friend worked there for a summer so we went in and ate. The food was very good, it's made in the kitchen so when they run out they're out for the day. It's an authentic, locally owned restaurant in Siena.

We popped in here for lunch and very glad we did! The wine and food were fantastic and just the right amount. We had the spicy carbonara and a ribollita. After lunch, the owner brought us some biscotti for our wine. Excellent finish to lunch! Very crowded with locals which was fine by us!

fantastic restaurant to savor traditional Italian dishes. The menu is handwritten and the place is very rustic and typical Tuscan. We had dinner 2 times during our stay in Siena and we are fully satisfied, will definitely be back during our next visit to Italy.

say a pleasant surprise was a simple and cozy place as must be a trattoria. A cheap place with a very good quality of food, I have had the pleasure of eating a codfish alla Livornese (photo) great great and a great Tuscan antipasto, the owner staid and shady but I'm going to eat i suggest it. excellent for the... This was by far one of the most memorable visit I ever had. It's definitely true that one has to visit a smaller place of the beaten path to get the most memorable experiences. I ordered a plate of Picci pasta made with some heavy garlic sauce, including half a liter of home wine. The taste proves that you can... More

We ate there 2 days in a row....i would highly recommend it!! The menu is original with typical dishes from the area. It's not the usual tourist trap! The cook & waitstaff are extremely friendly and the prices are reasonable. The food was truly delicious, really worth it...from the appetizers - crostino with beans & lard and cold cut plate... We tried this restaurant at the recommendation of our host as a simple and inexpensive choice for dinner. We both had ravioli, followed by a steak dish, a tomato salad and a dish with beans and pork, along with a jug of house wine. We were very happy with the quality and price. Don't expect a 'fine dining' experience, but... More
