Found this lovely restaurant by chance and so glad we did. Not a busy street, in the shade so out of the hot sun and really good food. If you like wild boar then this is your place. Really friendly staff and great food.

We chose this place for lunch the day after The Palio based mainly on the name - the eagle had been our Contrada, although regrettably we only came second in the race. The food was very tasty - I had Tagliatelle with mushrooms & black...More
Stopped here because we saw it on Trip Advisor and Rick Steaves. When we travel we always look for the stickers in the door. First the positives - located on nice quiet street; gluten free food available; had spots available outside; other members wanted pizza....More
Perfect for lunch. Just a short 3-4 minute walk from the square. Well worth it. Prices were a few euros cheaper than the square for equally good food. Service was great. Very attentive waitstaff. Not sure if others just had bad staff on the days...More
We ha dinner here twice (in groups of 12 and 6). Both the service an the food were excellent. Very friendly atmosphere, would certainly recommend.

Had dinner here with my wife in October. No problems with service it was prompt and good quality. We ordered a couple of pastas of the menu and they were great as expected. The trattoria was recommended by the Palazzo Masi.
