We were staying very close to Gino Cacino and looking for somewhere to go for a pre-dinner drink. Went on advise of TA. At first thought it was just a small goods shop but asked the guy behind the counter if ok to stay for a drink & yes it was. The smell in this place is divine. The number... More

Four of us went for lunch and ordered a meat and cheese platter with a wonderful red. The place is in the piazza under the vines. Very enjoyable with friendly service.

Place was full ( it only has 6 tables )l and the variety of things to eat was incredible. All the antipasto, cheese and meat that you can imagine. Quality was ok , but our all-round experience was not.

Food is incredibly fresh and tasty, especially the platter of authentic local pecorino cheeses, and the panini with cured meats and straciatella (the creamy part of burrata mozzarella). Seating is limited: about 4 tables only. Prices are very reasonable : we payed 13 euros only for 2 panini sandwiches and a platter of cheese. Service is absolutely terrible though with... More

Very nice and friendly - when we came in for aperitivo, we had a wide selection of wines. When my boyfriend did not know which wine to choose, he got a great recommendation. Both the sandwiches and the plate were very good- I can recommend the sweet peppers and the stracciatella burrata! We'll definitely come back!

Hidden place behind a dark pink bougainvillea. You enter and discover... Italy! Local (exclusively) wines, vinegars, olive oils, crostini, salame, prosciutto cotto and crudo, vegetables, bruschetta, pomodori in every way. Eat in the place or tale away: you can do what you want. Even leave the place with the most tasty Italian gifts!

There are a lot of sandwiches, most of them typical from Toscana, but also there are several ready hot-dishes, many salmon types or sausages or cheese to choose. Not easy election, although high quality in any of them. We chose the sausages (salumi) and cheese (pecorini) assorted dishes and they were fantastic and at a reasonable price. We went there... This 'restaurant' was fantastic - the tasting platter (for 2) was enough to feed our whole family of 4. We couldn't help ourselves though, we still ordered 2 sandwiches as well - big mistake as we ended up leaving so much delicious food! It was too hot a day to take it with us unfortunately. All of the food was... More

Moderate pricing for 1, English spoken and friendly waiters. Platter of assorted meats and cheeses really taste natural and was filling. They were kind enough to give me a free chianti wine while I waited. Highly recommended.
