The Restaurant I Barberi is situated in the heart of the old city, not far from the Cathedral, and we chose it because it seemed to typify the traditional type of establishment we were seeking. We chose local dishes, which were delicious and tastefully served. A great meal for 3 costing only EUR 67.00 including drinks.

We ate here last month during our five night stay in Siena, The environment is very quaint and the food was excellent. We shared an antipasto and each enjoyed a pasta dish. Good spot.

Enjoyed our meal of ribollita, bruschetta, and lasagne. Reasonably priced, nice house wine, limoncello and amaro. Lovely ambience and very pleasant waiting staff. Would recommend.

Located close to Siena's Duomo there's this restaurant, they make delicious food at reasonable prices. I tried tagliolini al tartufo (with black truffle) which was superb and at very reasonable price. If you come during autumn this dish is a must. As a main course I ate grilled pork loin which was very juicy. Overall it's a recommended place if... More

This nice trattoria is not far from Piazza del Campo. We have shared a good antipasto Toscano followed by a very fabulous dish of pici with wild boar sauce and then a rabbit at the vernaccia . The service is great and the place is not overpriced! A good spot to enjoy a true Tuscany meal in Siena.

From the street the restaurant looks small and narrow however inside it opens up into a spacious room. We loved everything we had here. The starter was a pastry filled with ham and cheese which we shared and both liked. I had the spaghetti with clams which was first class and my partner enjoyed the wild boar pasta. The house... This small restaurant was a few yards from our apartment and was very high quality in every respect. Cost for two €40-50 dinner, including very good house wine.

We bumped into the restaurant without much expectation as the decor was rather simple, but what a surprise. I loved their pici with wild boar sauce so much that I had it twice in two days. Staff was friendly and service was efficient.

A decent place to make a stop and recover some energy after a hectic morning walking around Siena. Effective and friendly staff and a correct food. As I said above: a decent place.
