We ordered a wide range of first course meals. The pasta is fresh, however Tuscan cuisine do not include any sauces. So ensure you are prepared to have dry meals! That includes soups too! Dry and thick soups. Wine was impressive - dry red. Tiramisu was amazing!

Situated in a side street a few hundred meters from one of Siena's main roads. Good range of local dishes, and local wines. Reasonable prices. Amex taken (which isn't always the case in Europe).

Little restaurant, near the center of the city, which offers some delicious dishes you won't eat so easily at home. In addition the prices are very reasonable, so just go for it!

We stopped there for lunch. We got seated inside in a nice and rustic room (although a bit for tourists). There was a mix of local people and visitors. Service was quick and handy (3 to 4 *) Food list with some Tuscany deli, not the very usual. Food quality was good or more, like cacio e pepe pasta and... More

Busy place visited by locals and tourists alike. Food was amazing great bruschetta and pasta with fresh truffle shavings. The lamb was delicious. Main critique points are: the slow/difficult service and the wine that is really not at par with the food. Note they only have house wine

Nestled away from the typical tourist spots this place was great find. It is truly delicious authentic Tuscan cuisine. We had veal and the filet with lard, both were great, but everywe saw looked equally as good. We also order the house red wine which was good as well, and the dinner cost us 47E. L'Osteria was a great find... More

At the recommendation of our B&B owner (Castello delle Quattro Torre), we tried L'Osteria for a late lunch on our first day in Siena and we still consider it the best overall meal of our entire 12 day honeymoon. The restaurant itself is cozy, warm and the service wonderful. We loved both of our main courses - my husband had... More

Traditional osteria, with all the typical dishes, amazing beef filet and kind service. We went for lunch but recommended also for dinner.
