Possibly the best and most complete meal we had in Tuscany! We had four different kinds of pasta, all excellent, great vino di casa, fantastic tiramisu and the final touch, delicious homemade amaretto as a treat. Buonissimo!

We wanted to celebrate successful meeting in Siena University. We felt really welcome to the restaurant. We had anti-antipasti, antipasti, primi, secondi, dolci, etc. We felt really welcomed. I recommend.

We booked a table here on the recommendation of our b&b owner, who said we had to try the gnocchi. Quite simply it was a fantastic place to eat, with great service, good prices and a lovely ambience - and the gnocchi really is amazing! Having been to a few "traditional restaurants" on our trip, I would recommend sharing a... More

Restaurant was crowded when we arrived, without reservation, but they seated us. Food was good. I had roasted chicken dish. The wine they brought us was really good, Montalcino wine!

For 17 summers Siena has been my home. This is one of the places I come to often. Great food! Unpretentious, rustic, delightful atmosphere. Siena used to be filled with places like Nonna Gina...now, not so much. Don't miss it!

We arrived late on a saturday evening expecting it to be too busy without a reservation but we immediately sat and swiftly ate a delicious meal. The owners and waiters don' t faff about much with fancy waiters' charm but I prefer that way it was just a comfortable place to eat. We are vegetarian and there was no problem... More

The food here is fabulous. Nonna is always in the kitchen making something delicioso and her stuffed gnocchi is the best!

I'm astounded by the bad reviews here. We ate here for the second time in two years and were extremely happy again. My husband and I had veal chop and a veal cutlet. Very good but not at all fancy. The gentleman who seated us could be described as gruff I guess but I took him as just down-to-earth.The service... More

It's said that in the Italian cuisine pecking order, an osteria ranks below a trattoria which ranks below a restaurante. But we've never had a tastier lunch than at Nonna Gina! My wife and I order one primo and one secondo and split them both which lets us taste more, provide a little portion control and hold down the bill.... More

We didn't enjoy the place!!! The food was a disaster !!! I ordered meat but I was eating a chewing-gum! The waiters were terrible! I asked for oil and vinegar and she refused to give me and when I asked her the cause she told me it was in the menu! They were disturbed as we pushed the table, which... More
