We have stayed three nights at the agriturismo on our bicycle holiday in Tuscany. The host family are really helpful and did everything to give us a pleasant stay. Family-style agriturismo: they will generally have a choice of two or three dishes (which vary each day), but each will be excellent. Same is true for beverages (they always have their wine but may of may not have soft drinks or beer, depends on the day!). The menu may not be long (actually 2 kinds of primi and 2 kinds of secondi) but what they serve is is wonderful local homemade cooking. A local recommended this restaurant, and we ended up eating there twice during our stay in Tuscany. It was soooo delicious! And for a very good price. They serve either pizza or primi with grilled meat, depending on the day of the week. Just call ahead to find out, and let them know you are joining them for diner. Delicious... More
