We attended a pizza class with Luigi. Very, very informative! Let me start by saying that he starts with only the finest ingredients. We were a class of about 16. He let us experiment with different ingredients. Every single pizza was delicious! Luigi is quite the charmer. By the end of the class, all of the husbands had to pull... More

I had the pleasure of coming here to have a pizza class with it's owner Luigi. We learned how seriously they take their pizza making and why it makes it the best pizza! Luigi is a master pizza maker who has studies techniques and now teaches all over Italy and when you taste the pizza, you will understand why. It... More

Amazing pizza and great hospitality. A family run restaurant that takes great pride in their home cooking. The pizza is the best I've ever had. Really thin crispy and foldable crust made in a huge wood fired oven. Beautiful restaurant with comfortable seating and views of the Umbrian countryside. Luigi the owner has an won award for the best pizza... More

Luigi and his lovely father came to cook for us at our villa one evening - BBQ and pizza. The meat was deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked but the pizza was sublime! The radicchio with Parmesan and a balsamic glaze was truely the best pizza I have ever eaten. Luigi and his dad were both charming and couldn't do enough... More

Oxtails all bone / 20 % meat the rest bone. Although the food was quite good , it was not good value for money. This view was shared by the 4 of us.

I just logged on to tripadvisor to rave about this restaurant, and see that Nicola W beat me to it! While I don't know Nicola, I was there with Culture Discovery last week, and had the same wonderful experience with Boccione. The pizza is outstanding, the atmosphere beautiful, the family warm and welcoming. There is nothing they could have done... More

A group of 11 of us spent the morning here as part of a trip with Culture Discovery. Luigi and his dad made us very welcome. We were taught how to make pizza dough outside on the terrace in the sunshine and enjoyed a few bottles of prosecco whilst we waited for the proving. We all made an individual pizza... More

What a great find! A warm and inviting atmosphere with amazing views! I stopped here with friends whilst visiting Assisi for the day. It was a pizza tasting extravaganza. Can you say YUM!! I will definitely return if I ever get back to the Assisi area. A presto!!
