This is the best place in Assisi to eat. It's beautiful, centrally located, and the food and service is excellent! Please come eat here when you visit!!

Excellent place, very good family ambiance and the service at first was kind of slow but we went in early for dinner, then it got much better, pizza is good for youngsters but the menu is for every one, good wine selection and local wines are very good.

Been going to this restaurant each year for the past 3 years. It's a nice, cozy place where we usually have an appetizer and then a pizza. House wine by the 1/4, 1/2 of full liter is very fairly priced. I'm gonna say 2, 3, 6E. Service is ok but can be a bit standoffish and rushed. Prices are very... More

Ordered two pizzas - probably the best I'd had in Italy - nice service and we were given a free map after paying. Highly recommended.

I was on a yoga retreat nearby and, during a day earlier this month exploring the beautiful medieval city of Assisi, our group had lunch at this restaurant. Good choice of food with gluten-free pizza and pasta on offer. Restaurant is downstairs in the cellars of a very old building. Food took a while to appear but it was all... More

We came upon the restaurant by chance, during a day visit to Assisi. There was a good choice of dishes, with an extensive pizza menu. We didn't sample the pizza, but these were huge and appeared to be a very good choice. The setting is stunning. The staff were friendly and we found this to be a very good choice... More

My two stars are purely for the ambience. We visited this restaurant last week, we were the first in. Service was very slow, and people who came in after us were served first. Eventually two of us got our very inferior dry pasta, one of us got his pitza, which was ok. Unfortunately my sisters pitza did not arrive. After... More

This is the 4th year we have visited the area and we return here each time. We shared meat and cheese platter, hubby enjoyed wild boar, son lamb chops and I had pizza. Also enjoyed tiramisu and strudel. The house red is very good too. Well worth a visit.

We were looking for a good pizza and fried zucchini flowers and we have found this place really amazing. The food quality was excellent but the service was quite slow (unfortunately). Nevertheless it is a place to go.
