Seemed a little expensive, so depending on your appetite, 3 people could order two people's portions for fondue (200 grams each of cheese, and 200g each of pretzel) and then share something else. And I really liked the cürrywurst plate. Service was nice/polite.

This place is awesome if you want to try local beer and the signature beer cheese fondue with pretzels. Very nice staff, food is superb, the atmosphere is chill.

I visit this place a couple of times, the Swiss food is good and is a great place for a fondue. Last time that i visited the place as it was summer I tried the steak tartare and it was great too.

Lovely restaurant on the river. The menu was a little limited, but I was very happy with my perfectly prepared, and light-touch fish. The service was average, but no complaints really,

Basel is quite expensive so this place was reasonably priced. Pint of beer 6.80CHF which is cheap for Basel. Food was good size serve and very tasty. Waitress had good English which was a bonus. Well worth a visit.

We enjoyed some of the best fondue imaginable at this very excellent restaurant in Basel. We would definitely return.

This restaurant is the best for beer fondue, where instead of adding to the cheese schnapps or white wine they use beer, that definitely gives a special flavor to the fondue and on top they serve it with bretzels

The menu of the Linde looked interesting and original. We were surprised to learn that there is only a very limited menu on Saturdays. So we got to choose from eight boring dishes. You can only order the exciting beer specialities on weekdays. The meat was acceptable, the vegetables were overcooked. We were charged CHF 25 for a mixed salad... More

Previous comments suggest this restaurant is expensive. However for Basel this is good value. I went to another restaurant I could easily pay 50% more for a similar meal. The atmosphere is lively and morning portly they serve the local Ueli beer. The menu has a reasonable variety of choices, albeit with a beer themed sauce, and is tasty. The... More
