We had a pleasant dinner in this restaurant but were nevertheless a bit disappointed. No great originality or impressive tastes and some dishes (e.g. the very average falafels) are insanely overpriced for what you got in your plate. On the other hand the olive raviolis...were very good. Good service. Not a bad evening at all but would not return.More

This was my second visit here and just as good, I took a friend for her birthday lunch. They have good COVID measures in place and staff are very observant of rules. Couldn’t fault the food and wine- veal chop, venison and cheesecake. The staff...realized we were celebrating a birthday so the cheesecake came out with a candle and happy birthday written on the plate. They also gave a card and a little gift of their homemade preserve. They really went above and beyond to make it special during what are very challenging times for everyone. Thank you!More

I couldn’t recommend the waitress who serves us more - Svetlana. She was very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome and recommended the best dishes to try on the menu. An absolute star! Definitely a favourite place in town!

Very very expesive Sorry, for 298€ , dinner for 2 persons, no entry, no wine, you can expect more than simple ravioli and a cheese cake. We have eaten in Genève much better and far less expesive. I don’t get itMore

Went there for a three course dinner and it was superb! We had: 1) Pumpkin soup with cheese crostini 2) Irish black Angus beef fillet with sherry sauce and potato gratin 3) Chocolate fondant with pineapple ragout and sour cream ice-cream All of the above...was prepared to perfection!! I will definitely go back next time I am in Basel!More

N47°33.348' E7°35.177' Restaurant Atelier is part of Der Teufelhof (“The Devil’s Court”), a “guest and culture house”. It consists of two themed hotels, an open courtyard restaurant and a theatre. In case of sudden rainfall, the restaurant has a retractable canopy. It is known for...its superb Swiss and Mediterranean cuisine and top-notch service. To experience superb Swiss and Mediterranean cuisine and top-notch service, in September 2019 we ordered Baselland beef fillet with pepper-rum sauce and tortilla (CHF53) and European sea bass filet with Piment d'Espelette sauce and artichoke risotto (CHF46). The beef fillet was very well cooked and tasted delicate. The sea bass had nice flavours and textures. Both dishes came from an excellent kitchen. A real delight in combination with the pinot NOC AOC La Tour Réserve 2016 (CHF66). We finished this gastronomic but rather expensive diner with a Teufelhof dessert plate (CHF16,50). Service was top-notch.More

The food was very good - large portions and hearty. Wines were also good. Service friendly and good. Enjoyed sitting on the terrace on a nice night (no views its an inside courtyard). Would definitely recommend.
