A little gem tucked away in Länggasse, very simple menu on a chalkboard, personal service and great food. The actual kitchen is part of the seating area so you can watch your food being prepared, excellent. Has an outside seating area for when the weather is a little better and I will be back to try that part out. All... More

It's a small cosy restaurant situated in Länggasse. During summer the people can eat outside and enjoy the mild summer breeze. It's recommended to reserve a table. The atmosphere is casual (no dresscode), and very Bernese (locals, all kinds of people speaking all kinds of languages, simple, old and almost vintage interior etc) Zebra offers a balanced variety of Italian... The Zebra was new to all three of us who ventured out on a rainy night for a light and early dinner. Tucked into the young and vibrant Länggasse neighborhood, we expected a friendly, laid-back crowd and were delighted by the energy that the small dining room contained. With the open kitchen and the cosy but not cramped seating, we... More

This is a wonderful place - especially if you have a chance to go visit it on a wonderfully warm summer night (like tonight). The cuisine is just simply outstanding in its variety and quality, service is impeccable without feeling "overdone" - there's really nothing to complain about at all. If you get a chance to stay in Berne -... More

Excellent kitchen, friendly service. Nice inside and beautiful in the garden. Reasonable The kitchen is excellent, the service friendly. It’s nice inside but best in summer in the garden. The prices are reasonable for Switzerland and Bern. Booking is highly recommended as the place is very busy. Vegetarian, fish and meat dishes on the menu. Seasonal and frequently changing dishes... One of the best restaurants in Bern. The food is always excellent. For Swiss standards the price is ok, but it is not a cheap place. The owner however can seem a bit grumpy at times, but once you know her, she lightens up. If in Bern, a must go. Notice to book well in advance, because the place is... More

A very nice place to have a good meal in a charming athmosphere. Located in the "Laenggasse" quarter in Bern, some ten minutes walk from the center.
