We went to Gilles Desplanches for a hot chocolate and a cake, and it was a great taste! Homemade cakes and great hot drinks including an interesting hot chocolate with fresh raspberries!

- instead of coffee we were served coca cola (after 10 minutes) -when we asked to change the coffee arrived cold - they need to work out their proportions of sirop they put in coffee - it is way too much - in the end there was a spider on the sofa and when we told the waiter about it... More

The selection of cakes and pastries in the window caught our eye as we were walking down the street so after a long day exploring Geneva we popped in here for a hot drink. I ordered a coffee and my husband got a hot chocolate which he really enjoyed. We also got 2 cakes to share which were delicious. Be... More

the place has not a nice shape. It is like a long corridor and it smells really not good. The prices are pretty high. I will not return there.

They have reasonably good quiches and salads but the prices are just too much here. There are so many places within a few minutes walk where you can have plat du jour and a drink for under 20 francs that it does not make much sense to come here. However, they do sell very good patisseries but again very expensive.

Popped in for a quick lunch as th sandwiches looked good in the window. Unfortunately I was sadly disappointed. The sandwich was like eating cardboard & it was soggy in parts. Not exactly what I was expecting.

Everything you can imagine except scones. My favorite are the dainty pretzel bread croissants with either just butter or also with ham or salami.

This café/small restaurant/tapas location is not too far from the Grand Théâtre and Victoria Hall if you need to grab a bite just before an event. Service was quick. For a confiserie I was unimpressed by the quality of the bread.

I have enjoyed the cake, passion fruit, the coffee was good, the service was bad, no attention to customers and I wonder why the Swiss cannot process euros and swiss francs simultaneusly. I didnt like the arrogant attitude of the cashier. It also beats me why coffee and cake cost 10 euros but hey its Geneve...

We decided to try the Swiss hot chocolate at this placed based on recommendation buy our hotel. The drinks were fine but we were lost in translation. We asked them to recommend drinks for our two kids. They served the kids with dark bitter chocolate drinks which the kids couldn't finish. As I was leaving, I asked for the cheque.... More
