We talked to a woman we passed in town and she recommended this place. It was wonderful! We arrived without any reservation, so we got a table downstairs. The table and the room were quiet and wonderful. There were 5 of us on a Thursday evening. Our waiter was Lorenzo who made our dining experience very special. We had 3... More

Had not enjoyed raclette here in some years, but was as superb as we remembered. Nice Swiss wine recommendation beyond usual pairing. Too few folks seem to take a chance of raclette. Salad was well prepared. Fillet de perche was pleasant but not exceptional.

The food was very good. Fresh meat plate, house wine and soups. The chestnut soup (with truffle oil) is to die for!! So hearty and perfect for a cold day. We accidentally ordered the "Chinese hot pot" dish, misunderstanding the waiter. We wanted cheese fondue with meat to put in the cheese but (lost in translation) got the hot pot... More

Back in Geneva after some 20 years, so it had to be a fondue on our first night (Sunday 5 February), and Les Armures in the Old Town is amongst the best. We were not disappointed! Good service... Good banter about our table on its own in terms corner (were we being punished), but it is in fact a much... More

First night in Switzerland, and we had to sample fondue. Outstanding service and wonderful food. Clearly caters to non-Swiss, but again this was very crowded.

if you love fondue, racklette and other swiss mountain specialities I think this restaurant in old town is the answer.. I had the best cheese fondue during my 5 days of stay in Switzerland at this charming restaurant.

If you want to experience fondue. This is the place. It was recommended by one of our friends living in Geneva as the one to try fondue. He is Wright. A little bit expensive for those looking for average budget dining. I think it worth seeing it. Many choices of Cheese fondue and others even meat fondue. That was a... More

Our concierge and wait staff at our hotel recommended Les Armures, we were glad we followed their suggestion. Note: The very pungent smell of melted cheese will knock you over when you enter. If you have a sensitive sense of smell, this may not be the restaurant for you. Fondue, salads, pasta, duck all were incredible and the service was... More
