You definitely book a table before your visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We ordered a cheese fondue. 1 portion was enough for 2 ppl. It was very tasty and not heavy. We also ordered steak with fries and some salads. They were all great. Great atmosphere. We couldn't find a table at the first floor but the... More

Nice variety of local dishes but their signature dish is Fondue. I found it to be a bit too salty comparing to what I have tried elsewhere otherwise great atmosphere. Often visited by expats. The malakoff was very delicious

At least that's what one hears all the time. My family would definitely agree, despite not having yet checked out every other restaurant in the city. Soleil is of moderate size, with an outdoors courtyard that is a delight in warm weather. The salads are plentiful with fresh and crisp veggies, and the cheese fondue is indeed exquisite.

Good food, good service, friendly atmosphere - what more can you have. Always very busy, especially at lunchtimes, so it is advisable to book. Nice, cosy terrace in the summer.

Authentic. Went with a small group. Different orders, about half for fondue. The different order were handled without problems which is somewhat rare.

The very last supper I suppose to have was fromage au fondue again in the nearby. Tripadvisor led me to this place, I say, did not regret giving it a try. Lovely interieur, fast serving, good wine of the house, tasty cheesefondue - a nice way to say goodbye to Genéve, isn't that?

Traditional restaurant which is always very busy and a buzzing atmosphere. Service and staff are great. The best fondue in town so I am told and I could well believe it! A must for anyone visiting Geneva but book in advance. It gets busy!!

Default place to go for fondue/raclette/malakoff especially during winter. Choose upper floor as it has more ambiance in the evening. They also have other choices if you don't like cheese, e.g. try their steak. Food is delicious and you won't be disappointed. Service could be better.

Cosy, homey fondue restaurant in the cute part of Gex. The fondue is the best in town, and there is always a great ambiance. Perfect place for a rainy night.

This is a great restaurant for a group night out. Its fondue is superb. This restaurant is noisy and is a lot of fun. Service here is excellent, making the short ride from downtown Geneva to be well worth it. It is easily accessed by bus 3 from Gare Cornavin to/from Petit-Saconnex.
