I went there with friends for the Silvester evening. We ate at the Bundner Stube and it was delicious. The food is very abundant and at an excellent price. We were so happy that the next day we went back to the Pizzeria and it was one of the best pizza we ate.

I was staying at the hotel Chur which is just opposite. It was my second time there having been in the same location a month before I had a mixed salad pizza Gorgonzola which is one of my favourites and wine grappa and expresso for 50 Chf The restaurant was cozy and the staff accommodating but they were busy and... I was so looking forward, to a dish I have not had for 20 year. Rosti and liver. When I lived in Switzerland it was my favorite dish. But I'm sorry to say the rosti was dry and over salted. and the lamb was also dry with no sauce. But the restaurant is very cosy and Swiss

We have been there on Sunday afternoon on the way back to Zurich to have the typical Capuns dish. It was served in the version Silverplana which I haven't known before, is overbacked with a lot of chesse. Was good but not outstanding. Service wasn't the best but overall not bad but also not the first address to come back.

We asked for a table for two for dinner and specifically asked whether they served Fondue. The Fondue was served with dark corn bread! Being Swiss myself, I can assure you that Fondue is only eaten with white bread. When inquiring with the staff, we were told that they were out of white bread. We should have told this beforehand!... Zum Alten Zolhaus appears to contain three separate restaurants. One of these is the pizzeria Verdi. We found this while on an "evening off" from our tour and were looking for a reasonable value meal in comfortable surroundings. The Verdi seemed to fulfil these criteria. We dined quite early, and were initially one of only three couples there. It became... More

We ate here following the hotel recommendation due to a number of places being closed an a Sunday-What a find. A good selection of traditional dishes on the menu and very helpful accommodating waiting staff. We had a table overlooking the street and were able to look at the old town and all of the happenings.

We ate here without booking ona Wednesday evening in early January during a short visit to Chur. This was the traditional dining offer at the Zollhaus, with a nice view over the street/river scene. I had a nice clear soup, my wife an excellent nusslisalad, for mains gesnetzseles for me and pork cutlet for my wife. All excellent, nicely presented... More
