Where could you take 3 kids and not have them look at their phones for an entire dinner without duress? The Tepan Yaki tables at Myoko are great as everyone is absorbed watching the skilled chefs at work and discussing their art - Nasa was great this evening Anyhow, whilst not cheap, this is not a pretentious restaurant and recognises... We have been big fans of this restaurant in the past but just wanted to post this time as their portion size has let them down. Very disappointing black cod. Very small amount where even they added a shrimp as it was such a tiny portion even by Swiss standards. Other mains had overcooked fish. Our main dishes were not... More

I confess I had strong doubts about the quality of a sushi restaurant in the middle of the Alps. Being a sushi fan, I tried it. Verdict: given the location, very good. We only tried sushis and grilled dish, not the tepanyaki or tempura. The sushi (nigiris) were good, although I would have preferred a bit more wasabi, but that... More

Just what you would expect. Food was good, prices seemed reasonable for a place where they entertain you with the cooking. Kids would like a place like this.

Once again the team at Myoko served up a delicious meal for us - this is a great restaurant and certainly somewhere to visit. The seaweed salad is amazing and the duck tepan-yaki is delicious.

We went to Myoko for dinner last week with our toddler. The staff were very friendly and polite. The restaurant was very completely packed but they managed to serve us very quickly, which was important for us as our toddler was very hungry. We ordered the prawn tempura, chicken terriyaki, and some sushi. Food was tasty and the servings were... More

When we approached the restaurant I was rather worried - sort of looks like your average Japanese restaurant in the mud western USA where people just load up in so-called Japanese food that clearly has no resemblance... let's say the entrance is somewhat kitschy...Also the interior is somewhat plain and clearly lacks the typical Japanese atmosphere... So @ the beginning... More

Been there many times, excellent food and very attentive staff. Maître is outstanding! Sushi always fresh and generous portions, Teppanyaki chef is a real professional and artist, and prices are reasonable for the quality. Located dead center of town, nice entrance through a path, especially in winter in the snow. Charming because it is an individual chalet behind a garden.

I asked myself why I would eat Japanese food in Switzerland when I was at Zermatt. I said to myself that I should eat Swiss food. However, I was attracted by their set up and the great number of people there. I took the chance and I was not disappointed at all. The food was excellent and the service was... More

I know Japanese food is expensive but I think this restaurant is over my expectation. If you are a big fan of Japanese sushi, you can try but my recommendation is to try something else for Swiss.
