I wanted to try local specialty " Zuri gschnatzel" with rosti and see the reknown art deco building. The food was good and served quickly but the atmosphere was fantastic, especially the ceiling.

Every time I visit Zürich I come here for lunch. The place is 'rustic' and serves great local foods, good atmosphere.

For the past 100 over years this restaurant, located in the heart of the city, feeds visitors with an interesting blend of great, traditional Zurich specialities that might vary depending on the season. Apart from the food, you will be amazed by the all the art that literally surrounds you on walls and the ceiling. When ever I was visiting... More

During a stroll through Zürich's old town I stopped for dinner at this restaurant and was very satisfied. I ate a sausage and rösti combo and drank a large glass of dark beer, but didn't have space for dessert. While eating I admired the colourful and amusing paintings on the walls. Service was friendly and prompt. There was a cheerful... More

This is a traditional place a few steps in from the Paradeplatz on Bahnhofstrasse. We came in for an early dinner, slightly jetlagged from having just arrived from SFO, and were promptly seated in the inner room. The atmosphere is old world in both interior design and service, and the menu is typical Swiss in the best way. We had... More

We had a very pleasant time at this place. Food is fresh and good, it's traditional swiss/german food and it is good for your soul! The atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated but not posh. The stucco on the ceiling is really beautiful and the service is great. We will be back!

This restaurant has a great atmosphere, very old fashioned. The location right next to Paradeplatz in a small alley is great. The food is rather on the heavy side, but very delicious. If you come to Zurich and would like to try something local in a beautiful setting, this is your place.

I had lunch with two friends not from the region and we were all very happy with it. Food is very good, staff very friendly and the decor is just fantastic. You really have the impression you are part of a private club. Definitely a good address.

This restaurant serves Swiss meal, which is generally not the best food in the world, but its quality is comparable to other typical Swiss restaurants I have visited before. Interior is beautiful "luxury like" and has a very good acoustics, so it is not noisy even if the restaurant is full. Our meeting with friends here was an enjoyable experience.
