We were told by several friends that this is a "must go" restaurant for German-influenced local fare. Well, we must have different palates. The setting is actually very nice. But, the food and service were subpar. The wienerschnitzel was dry, flavorless, and overpriced. Indeed, two people consuming a beer each and a wienerschnitzel each cost over $100 USD. For that... We love the place. Interesting decoration and history, great service (menu in several languages), impecable food and beer. It was a unforgettable experience in Zurich. Hope we can be there sometime again!

The onion sauce on rösti and the variety of sausages, together with the excellent Weiss beer, made it a perfect dinner. Super fast service and extremely kind, nice and efficient (Hungarian) waitress. Affordable (~35€/pers) but I didn't taste the desserts.

Please do make reservations if you are planning to dine here. However, they do accept walk ins. We waited in line for about 30minutes and we were told we need to finish our meal in an hour to accommodate the next booking batch. We were seated at a round table and shared with two other families. Which was not that... More

Had a great meal at Zeughauskeller on Thursday at 18:00. Was walking bye when I saw Z and decided on a early dinner. Got lucky and was able to get a solo chair, sharing a table with a older looking couple. Had the park shank with mixed (cooked carrots, green beans and spinach) - ALL WAS EXCELLENT. I've only had... Traditional restaurant in the Zurich financial center. Meal is a traditional Central Europe one, i.e. vegetables and meat (incl. sausages combined various dishes) . I usually suggest Buergermeisterschwert (i.e. baby beef steak served rolled on a sword) with fries and/or mixed salat. Beers are also very good (incl. malt Schneider beer). I recommend and go frequently also for business there.... More

Very good food and service. Kids menu is available with quite a few options. We tried the house beer and it was absolutely fantastic!

Set in a very old weapon and ammunition factory, it has a very large eating area inside and pavement outside when weather permits. The food is Swiss at its best. cold meat for starters roast, hearty stews sausages galore, make sure to try the ROSTI and of course their beer.

Tipical swiss food with potatoes and a lot of sausages. Nothing special but ok for turist or a quickly lunch. Price not so cheap, the food is not bed and the staff is nice.
