Excellent food in a friendly, nice decorated little place. If back in Zurich I will definitely return.

The restaurant has a homey feel to it. It's an old home turned into a restaurant. The menu consists of heavy meat dishes. No vegetarian options unfortunately. Service was so so, definitely not en par with the meal prices.

I loved the Wienerschnitzel, thin, large, crispy and tender, couldn't be better! I just don't know why this place is still named "Bernerhof", I would call it "Little Vienna"!
My sister-in-law and her Swiss boyfriend took me here when I visited Zurich. This is a small family run restaurant. I found the service to be very good. Plenty of extra meat was offered. Reasonable wine selection; we had a very nice Malbec.
