Better than general sushi bar, but quite pricey. Music quite irritating up-tempo, which stimulated to hurry up and move on. No atmosphere for relaxed Japanese dining. Strange that reserved tables are located close to the entrance with cold draft.

Hi, I was with you yesterday and it looked great, nice host Heid and good food! 🫶🏾 I didn't sit still because there was good music so the DJ did a good job. They also have robots as it is quite a large restaurant, tablet works well and fast :) Love,Marice (influencer)

First of all, big compliments to the two young people at the table, Carlijn & boy (oriental appearance), whose name started with Furthermore, they do what they do really well, everything fresh and delicious. I'm not into these big concepts at all, but this was great! Driving robots around (funny and useful.

Big disappointment

Had dinner at Blue Sakura Apeldoorn last Saturday: what a disappointment! All the food was very salty and some dishes were served almost cold. I asked for the green soy, and then was told that they fill the red bottles in the back with the green bottles (less salt) because of company colors. We were not asked at checkout whether we enjoyed it. We had to pay quickly and leave. A shame because we expected a lot from it. You pay a large amount and you can expect something in return. We will never go here again!

Unfortunately, serving did not go well for us. My partner (vegetarian) got a vegetarian tablet (+ point!) and ordered noodles here. Received a different (vegetarian) dish the first time. No problem ate the dish neatly. Second round, he ordered the dish again and again, in addition to the other 3 snacks he had ordered, he was served the same wrong dish. He thought it was a shame to leave it standing and he was certainly hungry during the second round, so he ate the plate again (but informed the staff during the second round that it had been served incorrectly the previous round and now the second round). Third round... you guessed it. Something different than ordered. Said it again and only received his ordered dish on the 4th time that he had ordered at half past eight and received it at half past eight. I am pregnant myself, so I had a so-called “pregnancy tablet” (+ point!). Ordered sushi here with baked salmon in it, but topping with raw salmon (which should be left off if you ordered via the pregnancy tablet). The dish was served and that was also not adjusted. Indicated and received a corrected one. But I was asked if I had ordered via my friend's tablet. Of course that is not possible because he had the vegetarian tablet that does not contain the meat and fish variants at all. The meat dishes for me are neatly cooked and all neatly done. The only thing I thought was a shame is that many meat dishes are served with a sweet (terreyaki?) flavor and there is little difference in taste experience. We were also served twice a dish that we had not ordered and when my partner had ordered a dish of (per 2 pieces of sushi) he was consistently served 4 pieces. The idea is that you have small snacks that do not fill you up too quickly and that you can vary a lot. You will be told at the beginning of the evening that if you leave food behind, there will be additional costs. I think it was a service from the restaurant since it was towards the end of the evening and it was vegetarian sushi. That they “had to” get rid of it and then constantly served 4 instead of 2. In short: Nice reception and friendly service. Special tablets are also plus points But unfortunately for us too many mistakes with serving incorrect dishes, dishes that we did not order or raw dishes that I was not allowed to have due to pregnancy (forgot to remove). Or serving more dishes than ordered (but any food left standing would have to be paid for). Unfortunately for us we did not enjoy it as much as we had hoped.

Order Mistake

Unacceptable order mistake. Half of the order missing. I ordered 2x8 pieces of Surf and Turf , 1xScallop Roll and 4 Tuna Tartare. I was visiting someone in Apeldoorn coming from Amsterdam. I got the order trusting the stuff that they will prepare what I paid for ! Instead when I arrived in Amsterdam , I discovered that it was prepeared only half of the rolls. If it was missing a 2 to 4 prices , I will pass it , but 12 pieces missing ! Unacceptable ! No supervisor to verify the orders that are coming out ? On the phone , they just said sorry !!! Rude and loud music.

It's quite nice. Although many dishes taste the same because of the same dressing or topping. Sushi is perfectly and freshly prepared. The music was so loud that you couldn't have a normal conversation. Said something about that. But servant just walked away. If you want to eat in a disco or don't want to have a conversation with your tablemate. Then you have to be there. Staff do not say when they will bring food or drinks. Very rude. For me this was the last time. Never again.

I've been here twice already since they opened and it's now become my favourite place in Apeldoorn to eat! Food is exceptionally fresh and there is a variety of options, great service, and probably one of the nicest interiors of a restaurant I've seen here in the Netherlands. If you love Japanese cuisine, you need to come here!

Nice ambiance, delicious sushi, even for people who do not like sushi there are plenty of other delicious dishes to order. Pace was good, friendly staff, in short top! Definitely worth repeating.
