It was reported in advance that 1 person had gluten and lactose intolerance and this was taken into account in an excellent manner. Each selected dish was examined to see if this was possible. The food was also excellent. Really surprising dishes. An intimate but very cozy restaurant.

This restaurant is located in the heart of Apeldoorn. We come here with some regularity and for good reason. It is always good, there is a good atmosphere, the food is good and you are served by nice staff. This time chosen for game, after all, it's the season. no regrets. from carpaccio of it, boneless spare zipper, to tenderloin, it was all delicious. ended with cup of coffee and homemade nougat. in short, another successful evening. Apeldoorn is fairly well endowed when it comes to food, wide choice. There is also enough business because booking two weeks in advance is not enough to get where I wanted. Don't worry, plenty of choice. So it became Poppe, nice place, spacious tables, a bit noisy but not disturbing. The service was more difficult, an older man who knows everything better and in too loud a tone. Who shows more pretensions than the case can live up to. Much more. And that's a shame because things aren't bad at all. Make a reservation earlier next time, but elsewhere.

We had a very nice dinner in the terrace. Food was great and service excellent and friendly. Goof value for money. We had oysters and salmon, both perfectly cooked. We will go back again.

A real night oot!

This restaurant has been on our list for ages and so it happens that we finally booked a table here. The food is great, the service is fantastic, the staff are friendly and devoted to what they do best. It's really an evening out, I wrote "oot but that's my Scottish influence. We really enjoyed ourselfs here!!

Poppe is an excellent restaurant. It can get quite busy, so best to reserve. The menu is good, although for vegetarians and people who don't enjoy uncooked meant/fish the choice is not extensive. The food is really lovely and well presented. The service is friendly and attentive. There is an excellent selection of wines if you are prepared to pay for it. There is (limited) parking behind the restaurant and a nice garden when the weather is suitable for al fresco dining. It's also very good for lunch as well as dinner.

I was dining here with my dad, the place itself looks good, but the staff is very young and not everyone knows what they're serving. We chose the 5 plate surprise menu of which the first an second course were amazing but the main dish very blend. We told the waiter who would discuss it further with his chef. He never got back to us. Anyway it's an OK place i you go without expectations.

Fine place for a decent meal

It is located a bit off the center of the charming city of Apeldoorn. It really looks good and inviting - and they even have a court yard where you can dine under covers. There is a parking spot that will work fine until the place is half full. The waiters are polite and informal. The was good - no doubt. It is not Michelin star and I guess you could say that it could have had more character, but then again the prices are not Michelin level either. Nice place, where you can get some decent food without having to sell your kidneys.

Nice restaurant in downtown Apeldoorn.

I ordered the tuna dish as my starter. It was serve thinly cut with a asian soy sauce base. While the sauce was a perfect companion of the tuna as it did not overpower the delicate taste of it. For my main entree ordered the sea bass in a tomato base sauce with a basil aioli. Fish was perfectly cook, moist and tender, sauces complemented well the delicate flavor of the fish. For dessert I ordered the chocolate dessert with ice cream, nothing out of the ordinary, maybe I was expecting more after having the tuna and sea bass.

I use to dinner several times a year with different friends at Poppe. This is in part to due the geographical location of Apeldoorn as each of us comes from another part of the country, but this is mainly due to the good kitchen and fine wines, the friendly staff and the pleasant atmosphere. After an interesting lecture in the nearby synagogue there, this time I came with my wife. As usual, we had an enjoyable evening.

This was finally the last time!

Were here for the third time. The weather was beautiful and we had a with rush mats protected spot outdoors. We sat in a corner surrounded by cobwebs. The starter and main course we found formidable bad. Only the coffee was good to drink.
