Went to Kitsch for the start of the evening- it was great! The decor is fab, tablecloths that you draw on, super cute waiters and good service! Really different style and amazing food, as well as great service. Will definitely go back.

My husband and I found this little funky restaurant on our first night in Amsterdam by accident. What an amazing accident it was. The menu is a fusion of flavours which perfectly complement each other. The food was superb. The turbot was cooked to perfection as was my husbands steak in a lamb jus. The Herring Carpaccio was an unexpected... More

We keep going back to this kooky little restaurant year after year and have yet to be disappointed. The house 107% burger at is at 17 euro's a little expensive but wait till you taste it..it reminds me of the scene out of Pulp |Fiction when Urma Thurman character asks for the 5 dollar milkshake...its worth the 17 euros.. Whatever... More

We were taken to Kitsch for dinner by friends last time we were in Amsterdam. The food was really good (we had a five or six course degustation) and cheap for Amsterdam, the decor is wonderfully horrible (somehow they have managed to combine minimalist surfaces with old movie posters, lava lamps and decapitated barbie dolls in the floor) and the... Description
Kitsch restaurant in Amsterdam: groovy food, plus disco atmosphere equals fab experience. Some people say it’s like walking into a scene from Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean video. Or Saturday Night Fever. Set on several levels, Kitsch’s décor varies from clean white walls and fuzzy sofas with fuschia pillows to darker, sexier colours with fuschia pillows. Comfy banquettes, statement lighting, camply hip service, and a party atmosphere all come together into a place that’s perfect for pre-clubbing or all-evening madness. They’ll serve a singing birthday cake and drop confetti from the ceiling or offer you something from the Betty Ford Wine List. There are intimate corners for two or thigh-by-thigh seating elsewhere. The kitchen is open late, serving sublime dishes like libido-enhancing ‘Pussy en potatoes’ or oysters with frites in salad, main course of Kitsch burger with bacon, onion, mushrooms, and parmesan cheese with three sausages. Soap stars, glorious gays and lots of beautiful people make Kitsch a second home.
